Here's a beautiful silk scarf my niece made for me in her art class. She learned the difficulties of batik and ended up with a great finished product. I love her creative design and the color she chose. My fingers are crossed that she pursues a career in art and design...she sure has the talent for it. My niece glows, she really glows.

And yes! Such a pretty art, Annie's batik. I adore the batik pillow she gave me. I look it from across the room each day. She loved throwing paint onto canvas for her latest piece. Actually she flung it, and also dropped it from on top of a ladder. You'll have to ask her about it.
