My on-line catalog of the new Shabby Chic Couture Shop arrived today. Beautiful stuff! The Shabby Chic line has always reminded me of the comfortable English homes I've seen on Masterpiece Classics, a Jane Austen novel come to life, but with ruffles, pastels and pretty accents that they didn't have back in the day. I love the well worn look, makes me want to pour a cup of tea and relax. And I especially adore this new catalog for the original art it sells; floating, dancing garments = haunting paintings (see below by Laurence Amelie). Everything is feminine and pretty in this shop. Give me a guy who can live with some pink!
