"Do Princesses Scrape their Knees?"

"Do Princesses Scrape their Knees?", you bet they do!!! (....this princess sure did, and still does!) Congratulations to my sister, Carmela LaVigna Coyle, for the release of her fourth childrens book (!), "Do Princesses Scrape their Knees?" In this lovely and gentle tribute to sports the "older" princess answers many questions from her ever inquisitive little brother. What I love most about this book is the clear message that we are ALL winners when we participate and compete with our whole heart. A must read for every kid and kid at heart (you know who you are). To get more information about Carmela LaVigna Coyle and to purchase her books, click here: www.carmelacoyle.blogspot.com or here: www.amazon.com
..... AND other books I loved reading this summer?? *) The Good, Good Pig, *) Left to Tell, and *) The Compleated Autobiography By Benjamin Franklin (Completed Autobiography by Mark Skousen) It's fascinating to read the words of an embarrassed Franklin who asks the doomed French Court to fund America's war with England again and again! (If it wasn't for France, America might still be part of the British Empire!)
In the Good, Good Pig by Sy Montgomery, you'll meet a wonderful runt pig named Christopher Hogwood and read the details about how he was an enormous blessing to the author, her husband, and their tight circle of friends for 13 years. A sweet account of a precious pigs pampered life. And now all that's "left to tell" is about "Left to Tell: Discovering God Amidst The Rwandan Holocaust" by Immaculee Ilibagiza. What can I say? This woman is amazing. Her story is personal, tragic and genuinely uplifting. You won't be the same after you read "Left to Tell". Have a tissue handy.
